Terms & Conditions
Studio ADC – Terms and Conditions
General
These terms and conditions apply to all services, products, classes and agreements of Studio ADC in De Meern and Kamerik.
Before registering, participants must familiarise themselves with the type of course, class day, class times, start date and prices as stated on the website or in the webshop of Studio ADC.
1.1 The terms and conditions and house rules are available at all times on the Studio ADC website. By registering, the student declares that they have read and agree to these terms.
1.2 Where there is an agreement between Studio ADC and a student, these terms and conditions form an integral part of it.
1.3 Rights arising from a membership, subscription, class pass or course are strictly personal and non-transferable.
1.4 Studio ADC reserves the right to refuse a student or end their participation in classes in the event of a breach of the house rules, inappropriate behaviour, safety risks or other serious reasons.
1.5 Participation in classes and presence at Studio ADC is at your own risk. Studio ADC is not liable for damage or injury arising during classes or while at the studio, unless caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of Studio ADC.
1.6 Loss of or damage to Studio ADC property caused by a student or visitor will be recovered from the person concerned.
1.7 Making image or sound recordings (photo, video, audio or otherwise) at Studio ADC is only permitted with the consent of Studio ADC or the instructor. This consent may be withdrawn at any time.
1.8 Studio ADC may take photos and videos for use on its own channels and for promotional purposes. If a student objects to the publication of such material, they can let us know in writing or verbally.
1.9 Studio ADC is not responsible for media posted by third parties. If Studio ADC suffers damage as a result, this may be recovered from the student concerned.
1.10 Studio ADC reserves the right to index or adjust its prices annually or per dance season.
1.11 Promotions and special offers cannot be combined, and no rights can be derived from them, either in advance or afterwards.
2. Registration and payment terms
2.1 Registration is strictly personal and non-transferable.
2.2 Class fees must be paid before taking part in the class concerned. For memberships, the fee must be paid before the first day of each month.
No refunds are given for paid memberships, class passes, courses, workshops, private lessons or other services.
2.3 Students under 18 may only register with the consent of their parent(s) or guardian. The parent(s)/guardian remain responsible for compliance with these terms and conditions.
2.4 All memberships have a minimum term of 6 or 12 months and cannot be cancelled during this term. The term is stated in the webshop.
2.5 Class passes and membership credits have a fixed validity period as stated in the webshop.
Credits expire automatically at the end of this period and will not be extended, paused, transferred or compensated, for any reason.
2.6 If there is no participation in classes or workshops for a period of 6 months, the account is automatically deleted and any remaining credits and balances expire.
3. Cancellation and termination
3.1 In the event of cancellation for any reason, the full fee remains payable.
3.2 Group classes can be cancelled free of charge up to 12 hours before the start of the class.
3.3 As stated in article 2.2, no refunds are given for memberships, class passes, private lessons, courses, workshops, competitions, pole shoots or other events. Workshop places are, however, transferable.
3.4 Memberships have a notice period of at least one calendar month.
3.5 When a membership ends or expires, all remaining credits expire at the end of the notice period.
3.6 If payments continue after cancellation, no refund is given. The paid period remains valid under the original terms. Products are strictly personal and non-transferable.
3.7 If an amount due is not paid, a formal reminder is sent after two payment reminders. An administration fee of €10 is charged per formal reminder, unless statutory collection costs apply.
3.8 Changes to memberships have a processing period of one calendar month.
3.9 One class per course may be made up, provided you cancel at least 12 hours before it starts. One make-up class is offered at the end of the course. Making up classes during regular classes is not possible.
3.10 If Studio ADC cancels a class due to extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances, Studio ADC reserves the right to reschedule the class or offer it online. If this is not possible, the class lapses.
Credits are not extended beyond their original validity period.
4. Other obligations
4.1 Teaching methods, choreographies, concepts and teaching materials developed by Studio ADC are intended for personal use only. They may not be used commercially, reproduced or offered to third parties without the written consent of Studio ADC.
In the event of a breach, the (former) student owes an immediately payable penalty of at least €450 per breach, without prejudice to Studio ADC’s right to claim additional damages.
4.2 Students must comply with the house rules of Studio ADC and of the building. In the event of a breach, the management may deny the person concerned access to classes or the premises.
